Conferences & Talks
Most schools in the United States today do not give STEAM disciplines the importance it deserves. This is resulting in children graduating from high school without understanding the significance of gaining a better foothold in the STEAM realm. In addition, many parents have insufficient knowledge about the impact and benefits that STEAM education has in their children’s future.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be a demand for approximately 1.4 million computer scientists in the United States by 2020. However, the number of IT professionals combined with the number of IT students in universities in the nation today only reaches about 400,000; thereby creating a huge gap in the U.S labor market.
